Not a bad CD of covers, but nothing overly exciting.
I've been a Kiss fan since 1984, and Ace has always been my favorite. Not a bad CD of covers, but then again at this point in his career he's not going to reinvent the wheel. I wish there were more unknown covers on here (like New York Groove, etc). Some of these songs I feel have been covered to death (Wild Thing, really?). It is cool to hear him cover Kiss' song Rock and Roll Hell. The Free song Paul Stanley sings on is cool as well. Kiss/Ace fans will like it the cd.

Wednesday 13-Condolences (UK IMPORT) CD NEW

Not his best, but still not bad.
I've been a fan of Wednesday13 since 2006, I prefer his more upbeat stuff. This album is slower & heavier, it doesn't grab me at first listen like most of his other albums. I have listened to it a few times and it is starting to grow on me though. I would say it's the most metal of his solo albums.

On a major label, not their best.
I had this album from back in the day on vinyl, so I bought it on cd for nostalgia. That could be why I like the album, but I wouldn't recommend this if you've never heard Raven. I'm sure it was the label that forced them to cover "Gimme Some Lovin". Not terrible, but they add nothing to it. Do we really need another cover of this song? Check out their cover of Sweet's "Action" on their first album, Rock Until You Drop for a better idea of Raven's sound. I'd recommend Live at The Inferno for a starter album by these guys.
