Modern Wooden Shoe Cabinet 4 Doors Storage Cupboard Rack Organiser

Recommended With Several Caveats - Read On
Recommended ---- Yes but read on.
CARE THOUGH --- Biggest size shoes in the shelves is probably UK size 8 if they are flatish heels and not too long toes. Drawers will take bigger shoes but looking at the size 8's in them I would think only size 9 and maybe size 10 would fit....again depending on heel size and toe length. I do not think it would take heels greater than 60 mm or maybe a bit more depending on the main shoe design.
For me the final result looks OK and serves the purpose of holding a large number of shoes rather than have them in boxes under the bed where they are forgotten and/or not easy to find the pair required at any given time.
However, quality control was poor, assembly was fiddly and it took a bit of DIY to complete.
One of the draw brackets was miss formed but pulled straight when screwed in place.
Several plastic inserts for the long fixings to attach the various panels where missing. Overcome by drilling and screwing through the sides.
Two long fixings were bent but as there were no inserts for a some of them this was not a major problem.
A couple long fixings did not seem to tighten up...just turned in the plastic insert. Did not affect the final assembly though.
One barrel fixing broke when tightened but there were a few spare so again not a big problem. The metal of all the barrel fixings all seemed a bit flimsy.
Two screws that held the drawer hinge in place threaded (plastic fitting) despite only using a hand screwdriver. Fixed with a thicker screw.
The backing sheets behind the drawers were only just long enough so 'popped' out one side easily. Some small screws pre drilled while backing held in place stabalised this.
The assembly instructions were not particularly clear as it was diagrams only.
It took a good 3 - 4 hours to carefully go through each step. I took it as a challenge and felt that I had beat the competition once I had completed it.
If you do not have DIY tools and some DIY some experience (drilling holes and putting in screws is not that demanding) and are not happy to tweak something you have just bought then this is not really for you.
Good value --- Yes, despite the issues, because there does not appear to be anything else out there that holds this many shoes. If I had started from scratch buying boards, fixings, hinges (if I could find any to pull down like this), backing boards etc, the cost of the raw materials would probably be getting close to the cost of this cabinet. I would not have had hidden fixings either.
Other shoe cabinets hold fewer shoes and cost quite a bit and of course you may not have enough space to have more cabinets.

Strong and well priced.
Boxes are strong, very competitively priced even against cardboard of a similar size and of course much stronger than cardboard. Lids secure with the clip handles and being two flip sides make access very easy.
It looks as though they will never have to be replaced for storing those more delicate items that you do not use often but do not want to dispose of.
I am guessing that they will also keep that ;little bit of damp out that you may get in a garage or loft and will certainly not lose strength if they get a bit damp like a cardboard box might.
