Perfect for hikes
Purchased this without much prior knowledge but needed soemthing to ppp in rucksack to use in mountains. It packed well into my pack without losing any noticeable space and I ended the day with it attached via the external straps. Very light and sturdier than a standard tripod and easily adjustable on awkward ground. Would definitely recommend and think this will quickly become one of favourite first picks for a photographic excursion.
