Very useful for reading in Russian for beginners
A good book aimed at beginner to intermediary. It has a good introduction explaining how to use the book and the best way to read it. A useful book to help with a very difficult language!

The T-34 - from drawing board to the Red Armies sword
A really excellent book, It does not cover the T-34's record during WW2, or indeed the battles it was involved in. It focuses on the genesis of a war winning weapon, it's trials and tribulations. It covers all you need to know from the drawing board up to it's deployment by the Red army.
It has filled a gap in my library, and is a valuable reference book.

Dated, but you must admire the production techniques used in the early 60's.
0 of 1 found this helpful A series very much of it's time. Kids bought up on the Terminator and Alien are going to find it boring. But for many it was at it's time cutting edge and there is a certain whimsical nostalgia. It was importantly a pre-cursor to Thunderbirds which still stands up well today. Sadly, I don't think the casting in Fireball XL-5 would meet with the approval of the modern generation, no where near enough diversity!
