Avid hits the mark again!
Second pair I have owned. Great levers for the price. Had a et in silver, wanted another in black.

Soft and grippy
Seem pretty soft and grippy in the package but they feel solid and should last a while. Haven't mounted them yet but I am stoked to try them out!

Awesomely simple way to convert that old 26" frame into a fast rolling 700c city/touring rig.
Super simple and elegant part I have been looking for. I have a nice old MTB frame but I wanted to set up 700c wheels for communting/city duty. Unless you have a frame with disc mounts/wheels or want to spend $$$ on some Paul Motolites, you're outta luck. There is the option of fixed rear wheel (no thanks) or welding/brazing new posts or disc mounts on the frame but then you'd need to repaint (I like the 90s purple paint and its in great shape). These allowed me to relocate my brake posts to position the cantilevers to hit square on the rim. Cheaper than a welding job and new paint. Job done!
