Good value basic Freeview
At the price, good value as a Freeview product, with decent extra media functionality.

Lots more than Freeview at a keen price
Excellent value as a basic Freeview set top box with quite a range of functionality. As well as Freeview channels, and Freeview catch up, there's a button for instant record. There are two other features. First, if you have videos, pictures and music stored on a PC or disk drive connected to your home network, you can view and listen to these via the box on your TV. And second, you can access the web via an Opera browser. OK, you need to plug in a USB stick for storage, but they're cheap these days. And the browser is quite slow, and without a keyboard you can really only go to preset pages, but again you can access online content. Remember the price: don't expect to record one channel while watching another; don't expect any inbuilt storage. But at the price, for basic Freeview box with some nice extra functionality, it's very good.
