Great Multi-coloured Toilet Seat
Different to the usual choice of black or white and fits my decor perfectly. Soft close is a bonus.

Not usable by everyone
Bought this hoping it would be useful for my elderly mother. Even after I showed her several times how to use it, she cannot get the strap tight enough to loosen lids on jars and bottles. A wind-in mechanism would help.

Rising Damp - The Complete Works
I've just finished watching the 'Complete Works'over the festive period, basically because Christmas TV is rubbish, and I had forgotten just how good this series was. Good comedy, can be predictable - it's all in the delivery - and 'Rising Damp'is predictable, but beautifully delivered by Leonard Rossiter and co. Here's a series set in one or two rooms, (or a garage - when Rigsby buys a sports car to impress Miss Jones) with three main characters, consistently providing situations, lines and ACTING, producing honest, good quality, laugh-to-minute ratio's. The only disappointment is the film of the series, made without the grubby, dimly-lit guest house and the absence of the late Richard Beckinsale is too readily apparent. I won't go into the racist jibes that proliferate the series - it wouldn't happen in today's society and there is no real vehemence or dark undertones to them anyway. Watch and enjoy.
