Sony 8 mm handycam videotapes
For those of us who still value qualtiy video of your family, friends and special events i personally continue to use my Sony video 8 Handycam for all of those special occasions. In this digital age this format still remains heads above the rest. The video 8 format offers excellent video quality when replaying on your smart tv's. I have several camera's as well as the sony equipment to process all of my videos to dvd format to make this video format easier and more fun to watch using a standard dvd player. Older people my age are discovering that transferring there videotapes can come back to life after i transfer there video 8 tapes to dvd format

Excellent Machine for Video Transfers " see notes "
2 of 2 found this helpful the sony rdr-vx515 is just the perfect machine to transfer your private home videotapes to dvd format. But most important you must have the original remote due to the fact that a replacement model other than the original will not allow you do use the machine as intented with all of its transfer options, of which some are required. The manual comes in handy as well especially when you need to add your titles to the dvd before finalization. I now have 7 of these machines as I use them in my transfer business with absolutely great results. If you need your tapes transferred email me for details. A fair price for this unit is up to but no more than about $ 100.00 for a fully working unit. Some units are now dying with bad dvd burners that wont transfer so make sure you buy one in which all functions are tested before you buy. Again, this is a great machine if you get the original remote and operators manual. You can buy the remote but some want up to 50.00 on ebay for the original. you can download the operator manual for free

Excellent Value
I purchase these every once in awhile for a couple of reasons. First i do sell VHS video recorders and players and like to include a new set of cables with each unit that i sell, and secondly i have several pieces of video equipment that uses these cables for my videotape to dvd transfer business. These cables make it quick and easy to set up additional equipment as the orders come in and allows for me to set up multiple sites to process my orders. I do recommend this item for those who still have and use the older electronics from the 80's 90' and 2000 years.....
