Lynette without Walter or Edwin
Tankard & Bady "seemed" like a good idea because it was the 90's, but it ain't the same without her older brothers' writing and producing. The 70's influence included being heavy on the vocals, while the 90's is heavy on the rhythms and the drum machine. I prefer the 70's!
The lyrics are about God and contain the message, but they aren't as deep and poetic as Walter's & Edwin's, respectively.
Lynette's voice has been a powerhouse and this does not showcase it. I'll be listening to my classics and searching for her debut solo album (on vinyl), "Baby Sis."
Disappoinment on this one for me!

Long Time Coming!
Great to hear Andrae again. The Crouch lyrics, arrangements and vocals are back. Andrae is not singing a great deal and you can hear him sounding weaker after recent years of full time pastoring and after being ill with a heart ailment a few years ago. Take it easy Andrae!

Great classic Trivia Book
I am collecting african american trivia material and came across this gem by accident. The author asks a variety of questions that are fun to remind of yesterday, as well as history. As these books go, they eventually become dated and this is no exception. But it's still fun to remember!
