A classic

I wanted a second hand book that wasn't too valuable so that I could put notes in the book as I read it. I have found the content of east of Eden to be worthy of notation and have underlined many parts. Knowing that Steinbeck wrote the book for his boys is interesting and adds to the content.

Glad I bought it.

The book arrived in good condition and promptly too. I haven't finished the book but I love the way it is written. If you can muster a Dorset accent the book becomes alive. Moonfleet is a great book about a village near to Chesil beach Dorset and the events that happened there. The story was first published in 1898 which means there is a traditional style to the writing which is refreshing and very enjoyable.

classic hardback delivered swiftly.

The book arrived swiftly. It is a hard back book with the dust cover completely intact. The front of the dust cover has faded but if I want to see the original cover in its full glory all I have to do is remove the dust cover. the font is easy to read and the pictures are lovely.
