Great little water heater
This unit heats water really quickly, and offers other temperatures to boiling, which is good for coffee and herbal teas. Unfortunately it doesn't dispense at room temperature, though.
The water tank is designed to have its own Brita filter, although I use a separate jug so use water from there, not using the integral filter facility.
Some people have reported a strange taste to water through this dispenser, but I didn't find this. I suspect that not everyone prepares the Brita filter correctly before using it; it's quite an elaborate process.
Registering with Morphy Richards for a two year warranty (if you're buying new) is straightforward, although I had to ring customer services as the model code is hard to find, and it definitely wasn't on the website!
Very early in my ownership I got an E02 fault code on the display, and there's nothing in the instructions about this. It turns out it's just an indicator that the tank is positioned wrongly.
Descaling is easy enough, although I would think that it requires too much water altogether (6 litres).

Very good all-rounder
I bought this deck for home use, as it has three switchable speeds and a detachable headshell for different cartridges. It works really well, although I doubt I will use any of the DJ features; be careful not to run it backwards!
I wasn't sure if the onboard phono stage would be any good, but it is good enough that you don't have to worry about having an amplifier with disc input or a freestanding phono stage to cater for the low outputs from cartridges.
This model doesn't come with a pre-fitted cartridge, which is okay, but there is no alignment protractor to set one up. These are available on the Audio-Technica website, but be sure you print the correct one at the correct size. This might not be a problem if you use a dedicated DJ cartridge (eg Ortofon Concorde) which fits straight on, although I haven't tried one of these.
