Functioning well thus far.
I would give it five stars except it had VERY small acid leakage upon delivery.

Canon SD1000
This is my second Canon SD1000. I broke the first one backpacking, and even though I bought a several hundred dollar replacement (Canon S120), I missed the SD1000. It is light in weight, small in size, easy to use controls and produces quality photos. At the time it was released (2006), the camera had a five-star rating, and I used the first one for years and years on the trail until a fall against a rock ended a good life. It has only one flaw. The camera should NOT have included a viewfinder, which is so small it's useless. No viewfinder would have allowed have a large, rear viewing screen, which it did improve later.
I ESPECIALLY like the metal, raised button controls with recessed notations! They do not burnish away the "printed" text, from bouncing around in a backpack, like the more expensive S120 does.

Canon Pixma iP7220
The only objection I have is when I print the first copy of anything, the printer takes forever, FOREVER, to ready and print! The second copy of the same material is rapid.
