Oceanliner with a mirror bottom
1 of 1 found this helpful It is massive, streamlined-looking with a mirror-polished stainless steel sole plate. Heats up quickly and shuts off quickly when propped vertically on its heel base. 'Tis a water-guzzler. Best maintenance: always use distilled water - - that-a-way, no-need for the decalcifier spray optional steam control push. A "Mercedes-Benz" of an iron !

Grampa's razor
1 of 1 found this helpful Grampa realizes the true benefit of modern safety razors is the double cutting edge, spaced and tilted at that Gillette-patented perfect fit and feel. Grampa (being retired) realizes the exceptional value of refill cartridge cost-savings he enjoys with this vintage beauty. Gillette hates to keep selling the cartridges in favor of the 3-4-5 bladers (but even Gillette knows a frugal deal when they begrudgingly keep providing them for Grampa !).
