Heats up fast.
I really like this hot plate. I brought it for a friend who is without proper cooking facilities at the moment. I went for the 1.5kw because the plate is bigger and pans would not over hang or block the control. It heats up very fast, faster than I thought it would. It doesn't glow while on. Just one word of caution. It stays hot for quite some time after use with no visual indication that it is hot so keep it well away from children ( and people who lack common sense !! )

Samsung Thumb USB Stick
Nice and small. I wanted this to use with my blueray player and didnt want a larger USB stick. It needed to be re-formatted into NTFS. Some of my computers said that it wasnt working. Only my Laptop could read and reformat it into NTFS but now its done, it works perfectly and it was worth paying a little extra for a smaller device to stick out of the front of my blueray player.
