MARBL K127 is the perfect phone if you want a basic phone that works well
1 of 1 found this helpful The Kyocera MARBL K127 is a basic flip phone meant for those who primarily use their phones for making and receiving calls and receiving texts. It isn't a camera phone, doesn't have a slide-out keyboard, or anything else - it's a simple phone.
I bought this to replace a MARBL that I originally bought when they first came out and that suddenly developed an orange splotch in the middle of its screen when some pixels died.
The size and weight are great, though the thing is a bit bulkier than a "candy bar" style phone when closed, but not by all that much. It's almost 1/3 shorter when closed, so fits quite well in pants or jacket pockets.
The phone this replaces has gone through hell and high water and is still functioning perfectly except for those dead pixels on the screen. At the price you can acquire new-old-stock or used MARBLs in excellent condition there's no point in trying to repair one.
I've had Virgin Mobile's lowest priced PayLo plan (10 cents per minute) for years now and was able to activate this phone on that plan today without making any changes. I had purchased a Kyocera Kona thinking I'd be able to use it, but Virgin Mobile would not swap my service to that phone without converting me to the 20 cents per minute plan, which would have been insane.
If you're looking for a basic, durable flip phone that does it's job well, the MARBL is an excellent choice.

Plug n' Play Replacement That Just Works
It's a "plug n' play" replacement for the OEM gas strut for the hood. It takes mere minutes to install (and it helps to have a second person just to hold the hood up when you're doing that, but it can be done alone, with some care). Would gladly buy again were the need to arise.

Just love Canon printers, particularly the i-series
1 of 1 found this helpful Up until very recently, Canon's printers all used individual cartridges for each color and black. This one is from that era, and has 6 cartridges - Magenta,Photo Magenta,Cyan, Photo Cyan, Yellow, and Black. As an added bonus, if you're so inclined, these are of a design that makes them simple to refill at home.
I currently own this i960, an i860, and an i560. All of them are excellent printers that just keep going and going and going.
I specifically sought out another i-series printer because I have been so consistently pleased with the print quality and the ink system, which is much more economical (and sensible, you replace only what needs replacing) than most other printers. How often do you end up replacing a tri-color cartridge because one color (most often yellow) is out but the other two are fine?
This printer is an excellent photo printer, and if you need one at home you can't go wrong with this one.
