Nice, but still plenty room for improvement
2 of 2 found this helpful Although it is an upgrade from previous models, it still has much room for improvement. The screen door effect is still too noticeable. I didn't notice much difference in the comfort level of the newer model over the previous one, although it did operate without heating up as much. I have not yet gotten used to the hand controller. Somehow, it keeps sliding out of my field of view. Hopefully, I will figure this out in time. The actual field of view still needs to be widened if one is ever to obtain the sense of full-immersion VR. It currently feels claustrophobic. I found it much more difficult to set up than the previous version, and so far I don't like the interface as much as the previous one. Keep in mind that this review is being made after a single use of this headset, and I am hopeful that my experience will improve over time and with increased experience. It's still a fascinating experience, well worth the price.
