Knob, Top Hat, Gold with Silver Cap, For Gibson, Type: Volume

    Knobs Above The Rest!
These are, in my opinion, the best looking knobs for a guitar, especially a Les Paul. But an opinion is just an opinion, for whatever it's worth. However, the functionality of these knobs, with them being a tad bit taller than your basic 'tophat' style of knob, is what really puts these above the rest (pun intended). They are easy to get a hold of while playing if you need to do some swells or quickly turn down the guitar for a softer part mid-song, or any other similar knob functions. If you have big hands or small hands, it doesn't matter, these will fit your playing style with ease. If your on the fence about these, you won't be disappointed getting them.
    Microsoft Xbox 360 - Madden NFL 25 - Brand New - Sealed
    09 Feb, 2016
What can I say, It's Madden!
I recently bought an Xbox 360 for my nieces and nephew. While I used to have an Xbox, and a PS2, Madden was my favorite game. So I wanted to share the fun of this amazing game with them. I hadn't bought a Madden game since 2003, so I expected this game to be quite the upgrade. Also, I have to admit that when I got the game I thought it was suppose to be like an anniversary game with all of the teams of the last 25 years. Maybe it is and I haven't figured it out yet. Although the game is pretty awesome, obviously there was a lot of changes since I used to play. Some that I thought made the game a little bit harder to play. Especially like the way you call plays. I don't see the benefit of having to pick formations, plays, ect. out of a side tab first, versus having everything in the boxes from the start. I found this confusing. But knowing that there is a ten year difference between what I was use too, and this game, I expected some changes. I also thought there would have been a bigger upgrade in the graphic's over a 10 year period. I expected it to be closer to the 2015 version, or some great improvement. But I found it only to be a slight improvement graphic wise when compared to the 2013 version. All in all, the game play was good as expected, and I thought you had better control over the players than what you used to. Which is a big plus. I haven't got into any of the franchise modes, but it looks pretty cool from what I have seen. Other than that, it is pretty cool. There were some other features that I felt were pretty nice upgrades also. I bought this game because of the great deal on it, ($9.99 for a new, sealed game) and I wanted to introduce my nephew to it before I shelled out the $60 for the latest version, 2015. But I think I'll wait until 2016 comes out before I do buy another version. If your looking at this game at a higher in price than what I paid, I would wait for the 2015 version to be had at a lower price now that the season is over. From the videos I saw, the graphics made a huge leap over a couple of years between this one (2013) and that one. The kind of leap I expected for a 10 year gap. But this will be good enough for me until 2016 comes out.
Behind the Glass - Top Record Producers Tell How They Craft the Hits (Softcover
    26 Oct, 2015
A Good Book To Learn From
Very good read, with a lot of good info. Although most of the info is geared toward analog audio, with some mention of digital as it was in it's early stages when the this book was written. But the principals are the same for digital as analog, and works just as well. There is a lot you can learn from just about how to record, with mic choice, and set up. These engineers and producers are the people who worked in professional studio's when music was actually created by the artist. Unlike today where most of pop music is computer generated music, and the only thing real is the person singing on it. Even then, most vocals are over processed.
