Simple replacement
Last switch was 11 years old and getting erratic. This went on easily enough! Two plugs at the bar, one under the headlight cowl. All works well!

Quality product!
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this for my '16 1200GS. Liked the way the plastic partially covered the cooler intake in the beak, and did not want a metal guard. Came well packed, no missing parts, no instructions. All you need to know is you'll need both metric Allen and Torx L-wrenches.
First assemble the unit. Then, Take off the small winglets that attach to the lower windshield. Looking down on each side of the windshield you'll see a large Allen bolt. Remove those by pulling body plastic out a little.
Now lay the assembly over the lower holes and replace the large Allen bolts. Put the lower shield back in plans. Screw the winglets back on, with the one metal shield arm on top of the winglets. All done!
Less expensive than a comparable "big name" site, a bit more than the China stuff. Only one I saw with the cooler covering design.
I'd buy this again!
