Good value for money, but the photo quality is not perfect.
I bought this lens because I wanted something with a large range of telephoto for the convenience of not having to swap and change from one lens (for close up's) to another (for long distance shots). I lens itself is quite heavy and is also quite noisy too when the AF motor is working. The AF itself sometimes struggles to pin point the area you want to focus on, and also the photo quality at full zoom is not as good as some other similar focal length lens. I did a simply comparison test between this lens and the SONY SAL75300 (75-300 mm), and the photo clarity and colour with the SONY lens was unfortunately noticeably better than the Sigma.
However, I still very much like this lens. The convenience of not having to swap and change the lens is fabulous, and I particularly like the fact that it has an internal focusing mechanism which means that the end of the lens does not rotate and as a result I don't have to keep adjusting the filters that I use.
I paid under £100 for this lens second hand, so with all things considered I think it is good value for money but I'd be happier if the phoo quality was better than it is.
I guess it's a case of "you get what you pay for".

Not impressed at all.
1 of 3 found this helpful I’ve used a lot of car waxes, polishes and quick detailing products over the years and I know Turtle Wax is a well known brand, but I bought these and have to say that I’m not impressed at all. Other brands I have used in the past have a deep mirror-like shine after use, but I can’t seem to get that kind of shine with this product.
After the disappointment of using Turtle Wax Wax it Wet, I’ll be reverting back to another well known brand that I’ve used in the past.
Not sure why, but surprisingly this well known branded product appears to be far inferior to other brands.

Good quality lens and excellent value for money.
This is a very good quality compact lens. Don't be fooled by it's "plastic" appearance, this is a very good lens that gives near perfect quality photo's.
Very good value for money.
