Quick, accurate, easy to use, and of excellent value
I haven't stopped using this since it arrived. It is helping me sort through thousands of components I have, many of which have no markings. It is quick, accurate, easy to use, and of excellent value to me. It won't tell you everything about every component, but it tells you most of what you need to know in order to sort them out and start to figure out what you have. Some components it says it is either "bad or unknown" but at least those can go into a bin to be further tested later and in other ways. But for a fast, accurate, easy to use way of seeing what you have, you cannot beat this.

Designed for one thing and it does that quite well. Not sure how long the battery lasts but it will probably last a very long time. Make sure you zero out the leads before using it. Saves a lot of trouble later.
