Issues...
0 of 1 found this helpful Tried to install with a 5500SF house and 1000SF garage. Regretfully, these things utilize 2.4GHZ versus 5GHZ signal and unless your router is very proximate to the garage without to many walls, stairways and many of the other things found in a typical home, you might run into issues. I even used Eeros and moved a beacon into the garage, "no bueno". Not enough signal strength to connect myQ. I took the myQ into the room were the router is, and, no problems it seemed. But, relocating the router isn't an option either because the security cameras, Eeros and all of the "homeruns" for SmartHome are in the same location. My understanding is that the signal wave of 5G would be more conducive for "My" application. But, in general, 2.4GHZ is polluted with noise from everything wireless, so, the move to 5G is on, except many will be laggards of course, as opposed to early adopters. Bummer, was really looking forward to this Garage Door opener "toy"...

Just what I needed..
Exactly what I needed for an '05 VW Jetta and an '08 Mercedes R320. Does exactly what and how it should, reads your codes and erases as needed. Great deal, no issues...
