Stanwood Needlecraft:Large Metal Yarn/Fiber/Wool Ball Winder - 10 oz, Heavy Duty

    Well built yarn cake winder
I purchased this yarn cake/ball winder at Christmas for my wife. I read a lot of good reviews on it and it cost a little more than others but I liked that it wound a larger 10oz cake. I wanted my wife to have something that would be long lasting and durable with 4 boys at the house and something that she could easily manage and not have to deal with any operability problems. I actually was quite impressed with the way this unit is built. It far exceeded my expectations in quality and operability. It came with one sheet with a few basic instructions and was easy to follow and allowed my wife to quickly be making her yarn cakes. At this point she has a mountain of yarn cakes at the house! It's really nice for her to be able to sit in her chair, set the yarn cake on the table, pull the yarn from the center, and not have her skein rolling around everywhere like she was dealing with before. All I can say is as a man I am impressed with how the winder is built in durability and construction, and my wife loves how it operates and its ease of use. I can't see why anybody would have any complaints with the winder.

Great large screen television for a tight budget
The Mitsubishi Platinum WS-65809 CRT rear projection television was a great buy. It is a lot deeper than your new flat screens but I was willing to use up a little more space in my living room for the price. This is a 65in screen with great picture quality. It does only play in HD 1080i rather than p but personally that's all the picture quality I need. When I bought the unit it had a cracked protective screen but that was an easy removal and can be easily replaced if I would like to. About 2 months into having the unit I started to have the typical convergence issues that models from this erra have had but it was an easy fix by re-soldering the convergence chip IC's. The easy way to go about it is to just look for the big heat sinks on the circuit boards and resolder all of those components. That includes more than just the convergence IC's but I went ahead and did all of them so I wouldn't have to pull the circuit boards out again later for bad soldering joints. It took me about 2 hours but I had really good picture quality after that and haven't had one glitch since. I payed 100 dollars for the unit so I was willing to do a little repair if I needed to. Most CRT rear projection units have problems with the CRT coolant making the colors fuzzy after about 3-5 years but I believe this unit is a 2001 model and I bought it in 2011 and the colors are still clear. I had to change out the coolant on my Grandmothers Magnavox rear projection TV and it was only about 5 years old. This television is for those who would like great picture quality, a large 65in screen, and willing to sacrifice space for the price. Great television for a tight budget!
Klein Tools 44007 Lightweight Lockback Knife 2-1/2"- Coping Blade. Brand New

    Klein sheepsfoot electricians knife
This knife is made pretty well. The blade holds a nice edge and I like the sheepsfoot style because it's easier to sharpen than the hawkbill. I wish the blade had better flip action but skins wire just fine. It has a larger spine on the knife and it tapers down to a nice edge so you can get this knife very sharp and with even a little rough use still holds a nice edge if sharpened properly.
