new is better
brand new eye piece to replace my old one. did not realize how hard the old eye piece was, this one is much easier on the eye. hopefully this one will last as long as the original one, which i bought in 1986.

replacement cartridge works
first pages work well. Then they got a bit lighter but darkening up again. suspect the toner had sat for a while and is being redistributed in the cartridge - did give a gentle shake before putting it into the printer.
see how it goes over time. hopefully it will last another 6000 or more pages! ps - never give 5/5 on a review as nothing is ever perfect

Brand new replacements
Brand new replacements to hang onto till I need them. Hard if not impossible to find good working spare parts. They are sitting in a safe place till I need them.
