Much Better Than the f/1.4d
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this because the f/1.4d lens doesn't do focus shifting on the D850. I also hated the haze I would get when light behind the subject hit the lens. The haze is still there, but, reduced. I understand this is a common flaw with the 50mm.

Great Product
I used this brand on my former NIKON DSLR and it worked so well I bought a 10-pin version for my d850. Works flawlessly.

Sharp Shooter
I usually only buy Nikon lenses but after reading many reviews I decided to buy this lens. So happy I did. I do focus stacking with the Nikon D850 and needed a good auto focus lens. This lens is tack sharp.
