A new world
Our Nest E is the simplest Nest thermostats, but it perfect for our 3 zone heating system. Once we switched over, my App is command central for controlling heating. Most remarkable is the Away mode, which lowers the heat when myself and my wife are away (sensed through the iPhone), and then bring it back up when we get back. As well, detailed programming for each floor is easily modified if we need to. Overall, I'm sure we are saving a good deal on heat.

Works fine.
Works fine, relatively compact. However, I still have one unanswered question about it: Is the output 2 amp (which charges iPads and iPhones), or is it 1 amp (which charges only iPhones)? If it's fthe former, I should upgrade my review by a full star. If not, meh.
Since I wasn't sure before leaving on my trip, I took a bulkier USB 220 v charger that definitely was 2 amp. I hope the product description will clarify this in the future.

Tedious instructions
1 of 1 found this helpful Seems to work ok, but both the phone and the extender have tedious instructions to get it going. Is this some sort of transitional technology?
