Not wood, it's mdf/veneer and a terrible quality finish - such a shame
Design **** This desk looks good - it is an unusual design with some lovely classic details. It is a modern, neutral colour and the top has an unusual finish, distressed fir with a grey finish that complements the painted desk really well. The antique bronze style drawer knobs finish the look off nicely. It is a good size with plenty of storage. I've given an extra star overall as I like the design. Materials quality ** Finish * However nice the design, the low quality materials and incredibly poor finish is what made me return it for a refund. It is a wooden frame but the panels and drawers are made from mdf that is painted but not lacquered and the top is mdf covered in a veneer. Next to none of it is real wood which is disappointing as there are similar items of furniture available for similar prices, but made of solid wood. The finish is incredibly poor (corners not joining up properly, broken drawer runners, drawer fronts don't sit flush, top of desk won't sit on pedestal as dowels/holes in wrong places); because of the low quality materials it is delicate and arrived damaged (twice). I fear it's good looks would not last long as it is so easy to damage. All adverts for this range describe it as made of wood, however the desk is made from very light mdf and the top is mdf covered with veneer. If you're after a solid wood, well built product that will last I'd save yourself the hassle and avoid this.

This worked really well, quickly removing accidental blue dye from my bleached hair - a god send! Worth knowing that bleached hair returns to the 'yellow' shade it ends up after bleaching but before you tone it.
