Great Denon unit with sucky app

The product is great. It replaced a Yamaha unit that had a manufacturing defect that finally gave up the ghost. The only complaint about the Denon unit is the remote app, IT DOES NOT WORK. I am not a novice computer person but nothing I have done gets the app to work. IT WILL NOT CONNECT to my unit over my network.
