Comfortable for daily use.
I would recommend the socks because they hug the foot nicely whilst also not strangling your ankle like some pairs I have.
They've also kept their shape and elasticity after a couple of washes so going forward they shouldn't have issues with durability.
Perhaps one drawback is the design of the colours - they've cause some hilarity in our household, but given you're wearing shoes this isn't exactly an issue and shouldn't detract from purchasing.
