My new go to lens.
1 of 1 found this helpful As a long time Nikkor lens user I have become accustomed to high quality and long lasting durable products. So I was a little Leary of this new generation of plastic and light weight products. They just seemed to lack that old time quality. While this might seem to be true I have come to appreciate the lightness and see it more as an added feature as opposed to any lack of quality. As always this is a Nikon product and it delivers all the high resolution and image quality they have been renowned for.

Nikkor AFS DX ED 18-200VR Lens
I had been using both a 18-55 kit lens and a 55-200VR lens on my D-40x. I found I always seemed to have the wrong lens on the camera when a photo op presented itself. This lens solves that problem but at a price. 1. it costs $$$ and 2. it adds a lot of weight to the camera body when compared to using the two lens solution. Personally I love the lens and the added flexibility I now have using it. The VR produces awesome results in low light hand held situations...at least from an amatuer stand point.

Currently having my MINI tuned by BiteTronik and they recommended this text to help me understand the process of tuning an ECU. Haven't finished the book but can testify that it does help you to understand the process of tuning. I would recommend this to others.
