Effective Solution to Keeping HIFI Turntable Stylus Clean
Found this Dustmagnet to be a most effective solution to the critical HiFi task of keeping your turntable's stylus clean. Brushes are fine to remove the obvious dust bunnies, but some residue invariably remain. This is where further cleaners come in. This is a polymer based cleaning tool, and on initial use appears very effective in removing the finest dust particles - as evidence both through examining the cleaned stylus through a magnifier and more importantly by my ears. A fairly small profile, but this is convenient on my Dual CS5000 with Goldring G1042, as the arm doesn't drop until correct speed is reached - the tub is small enough to carefully hold adjacent spinning platter to allow easy cleaning. I like the fact you can refresh (i.e. clean captured dust etc. off) by rinsing in plain water (will use distilled). Overall very happy with this purchase.

Brilliant Fluid to Bring Your Vinyl Back To Life.
2 of 2 found this helpful Have been using this fluid with the Knosti Vinyl Disc Cleaner, just as good as the original, possibly better as no sign of residue. Using the fluid has transformed my HiFi listening of vinyl records, the crackle and pops formerly heard, are basically the stylus playing dust, often embedded into the groove itself. Records with this fluid and aforementioned machine, are basically brought back to an as new condition. Brand new records also benefit from cleaning, as removes the initial dust invariably present from being embedded into the groove.
With all record cleaning, this will not repair scratches or grooves damaged by a worn/incorrect stylus or poor heavyweight record player. However, for cleaning records of embedded dirt and dust, absolutely brilliant.
This has transformed my record listening experience, as well as lowering background noise, records seen to sound better! All in all, very happy with this product.
