5 of 5 found this helpful This is the camera you really need for all types of photography be it holiday snaps or proffesional it just does the lot without any fuss my only concern is the lack of large capacity smartmedia cards and the lack of XD card adapters that allow the door to shut apart from this very small snag this is the camera you will want to keep on your person all the time for those impulse pics its simply a brilliant peice of kit yes it is a tad expensive but if you know the camera then you will know its worth double the price so if you see one BUY IT they are becoming very scarce now and buy some 128mb smartmedia cards they are needed

If Carling did lenses, this would beat it.
I owned one of these when they first came out and thought it was a superb lens, pin sharp throughout the range, I did sell it later on but missed it so have bought another and can say between this and the 12-100f4 these are the two ultimate Olympus lenses you can own.

One for the missus
We bought this camera as a starting point for my missus who loves to take photos.
This is an easy camera to get to grips with as all the controls are very concise and easy to use in small hands the weight is not a problem either as it is a very light camera the shots themselves are very good quality the only drawback I can see is that it is designed for someone with small hands and it feels to light compared to my Fuji S1 and S2 but overall a very capable camera if you are wanting something a little more hands on than a compact but not as complicated as a DSLR well done fuji you have done it again
