A mixer that works
It mixes paint right to the edge. I used it to blend 2 colours which is a tough job. Drips offand cleans OK. A million miles better than a stick.

Poor tolerance lets it down
The horizontal rods are significantly smaller diameter than the guide holes. There is no certainty that the sight will return to the same point. At 25 m range a variation of 0.001 inches will result in an error about of 0.33inch at the target. A great idea at a bargain price but poorly realised. I had to shim the slides to reduce that movement. I checked the recoil reduction by using accelerometer IC AD335 and a scope. Initial recoil is only reduced to about 70% peak compared to a solidly mounted scope at a reduced edge rate. An improvement but not as much as hoped for.

Good
Worked 1st time at 90MHz. Tuneable only down to about 83MHz but not a problem there. Range about 50metres with a brick wall in the way- pretty good. Microphone worked but a little noisier there - that might have been a power supply issue as I was not using a battery.
