Just a camera not a camcorder
I bought this camera as it has a viewfinder, which is hard to find in a compact these days, this means in bright sunlight you can still see your subject. As well as a viewfinder, it uses ordinary batteries, so there is no extra expense for a spare battery (I use rechargable). the batteries last for a reasonable time (depending on type and Ahr) and with a decent size SDHC card there is more than enough Photographic time. This is the second one I have had, because I sent the first one back as I thought it was faulty. the reason for this is the sound quality on video playback, it fluctuates up and down. This appears to be a common fault with this camera, as the new one does exactly the same. So far as pictures go I am more than satisfied, they are nice and clear, and with quite a few different functions available, you get a good chance of all your pictures being great. So if all you want is a nice and easy snap shot camera this is for you, if you want videos as well, do as I did and by a proper camcorder.

shame about DVD drive
This is a very good laptop, the specification is great for the price, as similar laptops are at least £50 more. It boots up nice and fast and you can use multiple programs, at the same time without it getting too slow. The only drawback is the DVD drive and card reader are on the left hand side Tucked under the slight bevel of the design. This makes it impossible to put a card in the reader or open the drive without tilting the laptop to gain access. this being said I would still recommend the laptop.

value for money
great value for money and two for the price of one most of the others I lokked at were three times the price for one these are genuine and fit well.
