Cheap Gamer if you add a Graphics card
Testing this 6 core/12 thread 3.4GHz machine against my FX-8350 @ 4.7 GHz, both using the same GTX 980 surprised me. It actually scored better on the Firestrike benchmark than the FX-8350. I had to use a couple PCIe adapters to make it work, but the 575W PSU had no problem handling the GTX 980 maxed out. Of course, I couldn't close the side panel...
One of the faster 4-core chips before mega-core became the rage. Still handles most multi-player games with ease.

Nvidia wasn't kidding about the "Fermi"!
I bought this Galaxy GTX 460 768MB for a computer I was building from a collection of left-over parts. I guess you could call it a 'poor man's gaming machine'. (Although my main computer is a bit long in the tooth, too. ;-)
However... when I compared the benchmark results of the Galaxy 460 to my other machine's GTX 285 1GB, I was shocked. I assumed it would be close but consistently behind the 285. Surprisingly, in many cases the 460 actually did better than the 285!
In fact, I was so impressed I swapped the cards between machines and ordered a 2nd Galaxy GTX 460 768MB for an SLI configuration in my main computer. I haven't gotten around to installing the 2nd one yet, but I expect great results.
