Tesco DR1403B DAB Digital Radio With 10 Presets & FM 1.5w RMS Output Blue

Good little DAB radio.

Nice size, very portable, easy to use the presets once set up. Nice and clear on DAB but useless on FM for me, but that's ok as I wanted it for DAB so I can listen to the World Service any time of day. Speaker is nice and clear for speech (think it is 1.5W) but perhaps if you are wanting to listen to a lot of music you might want something a bit better. I know DAB radios can eat up batterys but I have to say I am still on the 4AA batteries I put in when I got it a couple or so weeks ago. It switches seamlessly between batteries and mains but if on the mains you cant turn the display off, so have to cover the light if used in bedroom) On batteries the display will turn off to save juice. If you want a small portable Dab then this will do the job nicely.

Handy showerproof cap for golf.

Just the job for the wet weather. Showerproof rather than waterproof. Fits well, though the elastic toggle eventually perishes after a few years.
