Steely Dan Can’t Buy a Thrill Japan CD
I really like this Japanese CD release of Can’t Buy A Thrill.
It is far more detailed than the original CD and it removes the background grain the original had.
Background voices and instruments are smooth and the soundstage is well defined.

Dire Straits on SACD is a match made on Heaven
This SACD is mixed in Japan. It is worth every penny that you pay. In fact all the Dire Straits SACDs from Japan are superb.
I notice a great reduction in background grain and much greater inner detailing. It is powerfully dynamic and yet sweet sounding.
Do yourself a favor and buy this disc!
