40GB Hard Drive and Caddy for Playstation 3 FAT CECHG01 PS3 w/blue screw

PS3 hard drive

The product came as pictured. Installed in the old "fat" PS3 without any issues. System recognized the drive, however when trying to install games over 600 MB I'm getting a hard drive failure error code. I have received the same error code with other drives, with smaller games, so I don't know if it's the fault of the drive or system itself.
