Attractive, strong and durable
1 of 1 found this helpful An attractive, solid item which looks very nice as it is polished granite. Perhaps the most important thing for us is the stem which holds the parasol, this is made of stainless steel and very few are. We live on the coast and these are normally mild steel with some sort of coating but they rust away in two years and or less while the thumb screw lasts only a few months before seizing up so to find stainless steel is a big bonus and it looks nice and shiny too.

La Limonata - Heavenly lemon drink
Had this in a little Italian restaurant, I looked for it on ebay and was so pleased to find it and at a reasonable price of about 84p a unit. It is basically lemon juice and sugar from lemons ripened in the southern Italian sun. No additives or artificial flavourings or artificial sweeteners or preservatives. Just a slight fizz. It tastes just like fresh lemons and is a delicious treat, the best lemon drink I have tasted.

Useful sinking food for shy koi
I have used this product for about a year now. I started using it because it is a sinking feed and 2 of my koi were not getting fat like the others and a few weeks after I started it they were back up to the same shape as the others were. Some weeks after running out of this food I noticed that the same two fish were getting thinner again so I have bought some more and they are already eating it greedily from mid water downwards as it sinks so it is useful if you have some shy fish that do not like to fight with the others for floating food. I have not said i recommended it because the ingredients are not listed anywhere and I like to know that they are, in order of inclusion. This is after all the industry standard and although it says it is an all year round feed I would still prefer to see what the protein sources are etc.
