3 of 3 found this helpful THE Fleetwood Mac album. It's a long way from the early brilliant Albatros era. Quality start to finish. Every song appears to be about the traumas within the band (they were all apparently in / out of relationships with each other!) The odd bit of hard rock (Go you own way, Dont stop, Gold dust woman) is mixed with mostly soft rock with some fabulous songs ripped off by others (Dreams, the chain etc) plus fabulous female vocals on You make loving fun, then heartrending raw feelings exposed on Oh Daddy, Songbird. Plus You make loving fun and more. Some top guitar playing, great musicianship and production throughout. Songwriting is top drawer.
This timeless album will be played in 100 years and still revered for the work of genius it is; no rock collection is complete without it. It is a pivotal moment in rock history.
It is one of the very few Vinyl LPs I owned in the 70s and 80s which I have since bought on CD.

Dire Straits - debut album
Great 1st album, not quite rated by me excellent as 1 or 2 four star tracks, otherwise all 5* stuff!!
Sultans of swing - an anthem. What more to say. "In the gallery", "Wild West End", "Lions", "Down to the water line" and "Water of love" - all fantastic songs performed by the original line up, before the more polished more commercial stuff they produced later on.
If you haven't go this CD in your rock music collection, you are nissing out. PS you also need Making Movies.............

Flimsy but reasonable value.
Assembly instructions are terrible, no words just ambiguous pictures. Some items wrongly labled. Way over pacaked with everything shrink wrapped. A bit flimsy and nedd to silicone the Windows. The opening window only works if you fit hinges. However, it's ok for the price.
