This is a very high quality, well machined tool that looks great on my tying desk.

You are paying for the material and quality workmanship more than anything. Yes, less expensive tools will do the same job, but I wanted something more than the cheap Chinese stuff for my desk. Stonfo Elite products are the Rolex of the fly tying tools.
