Just the job
Use this for breadmaking to check water is at the correct temperature. Does the job beautifully, easy to read and store.

Get paddling
If your paddle is over two years old, don't hesitate - get a new one.
I didn't realise what a difference a new paddle made until I compared the aperture with the (wider) old one.
