Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S85 4.1 Megapixel
I had a very similar version of this camera (DSC-S75) that I used at work for general shots of items for inclusion in reports etc. A friend borrowed it for a weekend and loved it so much that in order to shut her up I had to sell it to her! I replaced it with the DSC-S85 for less than $150. I am also an experienced photographer who has an extensive Digital SLR system and am able to recognize and appreciate quality. The quality of these Sony's is very nice with a camera body that is much more holdable than some of the tiny cameras available today. The lens on this camera is excellent, memory sticks are dirt cheap, and the camera is still small enough to carry when you need to travel light. I would rather have one of these than many of the new improved versions of the point & shoots currently available, especially when owned in conjunction with an extensive SLR system that you may not need to lug aroung!

Fast lens option for cameras with DX sensors.
This lens filled a void in my lens arsenal by providing a fast general purpose focal length lens. Roughly comparable to a 45 to 50 on a film camera, this lens is fast, sharp, and is sturdily built. Focus is dead on. I could not be more pleased!
