Seems to work okay but can't keep the date current.
0 of 1 found this helpful It is small and fits nicely on the top of the windshield. It has a really long power cable and battery back up. It automatically turns on and off when the car key turns on/off. The only bad thing is I can't get the day/date/time to stay current. It keeps going back to 2017. Bad news if I ever need to show the recorded video after an incident. For this reason I can't recommend it.
Update: Its been almost three weeks and while I am driving, the unit turns itself off about every 10 minutes and then restarts about 10 seconds later. It's not overheated.
