A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE

I am an Appalachian. I am very proud of that fact. I was actually born in a two-room shack. So, as I read the pages of this book, memories came flooding back to me. I decided to add footnotes on practically every page as I recalled my own experiences. The book was delivered in pristine condition, and I did not expect that. Therefore, I am very pleased to own this book and to pass it on to my children and grandchildren.

Great accounts of life in the frontier

Perhaps I was brought into this world by a Frontier Nurse, and because the book is so well done, I read it from cover to cover in one evening. It made me laugh and it made me cry. It will always hold a place in my library and a place in my heart.
