Great can opener, but does have a drawback.
This is not my first can opener of this brand and kind. When it is new it works great. Cuts through the edge of a can like butter. What I like is besides not having any sharp edges is that you can replace the lid and it will actually seal the can for things you don't use up in one day. I took a star off because like everything else it will wear out and then it's a struggle to use it. The wheel will slip, it won't cut the first time and you have to go one or two more times around the can. While I do always replace it, I do not like the fact that this can opener has massive plastic handles that then end up in the landfill, because it is not recyclable (as far as I know). It would be nice if the company offered to refurbish, because it would just be a matter of replacing the little gripping wheel and the cutter part.

Wish for only one thing
So far I'm only using one of them, but it works well. The one thing I would like to see is to have the sockets marked with the corresponding letter on the remote. The remote's buttons say A, B, C and D, but all the sockets are blank. The one I'm using turned out to be "B". You could mark them yourself, but you'd have to try them all. Would be nice if it were already on there.

Only one issue keeping me from giving 5 stars
1 of 1 found this helpful My cats seem to like it, but I do have a concern about how the "weasel" is attached to the ball. It is held by 2 very thin nylon ties (like the ones that hold tags to clothing). These could potentially get chewed off. A piece of thin chain would have been a better attachment.
