Great machine and decent quality stand

Brought it for sewing mostly 6 oz waxed canvas and occasional car upholstery which it performs well at, I dont work with any lighter fabrics but have tried it on so thin cotton and although it does give acceptable results it is really not what this machines is for. The speed control is incredibly useful and probably the best feature of the machine alongside all the other programmable features the direct drive allows. The base is well made with decent locking castor on all four corners. Only thing I have changed about the base is adding cable grommets like the ones sold for desks around the holes drilled for the cables as the are left raw as it comes. The only fault I have is that there was no communication whatsoever about delivery. A large lorry turned up outside my house , luckily when I was home, but this could be an issue for some people. I have received palletised items before ( woodworking machinery) and you rarely get a date and time but normally at least a phone call the morning its going to arrive. Overall I would definitely recommend for any heavy or medium work.
