Good quality product, very well made, quick & easy to get working.
Superb product, took literally seconds to get it working. No messing with horrible clips or screws, the case just easily slides open and the drive fitted.

Sturdy but far too heavy to be truly portable.
As the other review has said, this is a good sturdy product, but it is VERY heavy. Even though it comes with a shoulder carrying bag its far too heavy to be carried beyond a short distance - so don't imagine you can carry it to the beach like a folding camping chair.

An excellent bridge camera
If you're looking to progress from a standard point-and-shoot, but don't have the funds or time to learn a D-SLR, then this Fuji bridge camera is for you. Although getting a little old, with a limited number of megapixels, don't let that put you off. The benefit of this one over many over bridge cameras is the long exposure time - 15 seconds. It may not sound much, but many other bridge cameras (including the Fuji successors to this model) can only do 8 seconds. The XD card format can be a little more expensive than more common SD cards. The camera takes 4 batteries, and it can eat them unless you use some quality 2000Ma NiMh batteries.
