Only useful if you own a Mac and/or iOS device.
I'm a Mac/iOS user, I've fully bought into their system and I use iTunes for music, video and I even use Aperture and PhotoStream for photos. While I know it's not the perfect system, it's worth pointing out so you know where I'm coming from. I bought the Apple TV because I was tired of using unreliable workarounds to get my XBOX 360 to stream my media, I wanted a slick and reliable system, that works first time. In that respect the Apple TV is perfect, as long as my MacBook is on, I can stream all my TV and Movies to my TV. The apps installed on the device are pretty underwhelming, Netflix is probably the most useful (even though I use LoveFilm) the rest I don't think I've even used once. This leads me to the Apple TV's biggest selling point and it's trump card up it's sleeve; AirPlay. You can beam audio and video from apps on your iPhone, iPad and Mac, for instance I overcome the lack of LoveFilm app by selecting a film on the iPhone LoveFilm app and then beaming it to the Apple TV. It's very slick and works well. In conclusion IF you own a few Apple devices and you've bought into using iTunes, PhotoStream etc I think you will get a lot of use out of the Apple TV, it's the bet way to connect your Apple products to your TV. Though if you have a variety of devices, by different manufactures it would probably pay to look elsewhere (Roku or other alternatives), I understand they have a greater amount of apps and far more content to stream. You would be disappointed by the lack of streaming content on the Apple TV if you plan on using it without a Mac or iOS device to fully utilise it.

Fantastic camera, loaded with features despite it's diminutive proportions.
I bought this as an upgrade to the Sony NEX-3N, which I loved for it's tiny dimensions, fantastic picture quality and it's ability to support legacy lenses. However the lack of EVF (Electric Viewfinder) and flash hot shoe ultimately made me upgrade to the NEX-6. The NEX-6 is slightly larger than the 3N. I guess you can't really call it 'pocketable' anymore; however it is still a very small camera, very easy to slip into a shoulder bag and I more often than not have it with me, unlike my old Sony A200, which I only carried on 'special occasions.' The picture quality is still phenomenal and coupled with the EVF, I find I am nailing my exposure in manual mode more than I did with my 3N. The EVF is a thing of beauty, I didn't realise how much I would miss it when I got my 3N, but ultimately it's a deal breaker for me. I need the extra stability that comes from having the camera jammed against my face and the EVF is so much friendlier to use in the bright sunlight - something I had trouble with on the 3N. The slight size increase also makes it more comfortable to hold in my Truckasaurus hands, thanks to the bigger finger grip. Dimensions wise, compared to the 3N the NEX-6 is only slightly taller and wider, the extra size comes from the chunkier grip and the bulge of the EVF. I love the focus peaking feature that Sony use. This means that using old manual lenses with an adapter are easy to use and quick to focus. (Check out a YouTube video for a demonstration). Basically the peaking feature highlights the edges of the area in focus, so you can easily see which areas of the photo are in focus and adjust accordingly. The NEX-6 has many, many features a lot of which I've only glanced at, the Wi-Fi connectability is something that I need to try, but so far it's been left redundant. I also appreciate the dedicated mode dial on top of the camera. The panorama mode works really well; like all recent Sony camera, the stitching of images is pretty flawless. Negatives - I can't really think of many, I guess there are a few big features I would like, to make this a perfect camera for me, such as GPS and waterproof, but this would make the camera more expensive and no doubt heavier and larger. The ability to silence the shutter would be a nice (probably) easy firmware upgrade that I would like to see, I understand why the noise is kept, but it would make street photography slightly more subtle. In summation I love this camera, even thought Sony have binned the NEX name, I would still recommend one, they are still supporting and making lenses for the Emount, they are just rebranding the range. I love the portability, which means I carry it around with me, more so than when I had a full size DSLR. The photo quality is jaw dropping, check out Flickr to see some examples. The lens range is slightly limited for the NEX E-mount, but with an adapter and focus peaking it's VERY easy to use old lenses for very little money.

If you like Halo buy it - you can't go wrong for the low price it's at.
Usual Halo fun. A very short game - but didn't feel ripped off because it only cost me just over a fiver. I liked the 'Noir' element, the music and the rain soaked, neon streets created a suitably atmospheric experience. This contrasted nicely with the flashback sequences which had more traditional Halo style gameplay.
