All good so far

Dated, but does the job

This NAS model is a few years old now, but still worth considering if you're on a budget and prepared to modify it by adding an extra SSD or HDD via the vacant PCI slot. The two 3.5in HDD caddies can be furnished with up to 16TB in total. RAM is expandable up to 16GB, but check the specs before you buy any modules. The stock software is no longer maintained by Lenovo - the product is EOL, but there are better, regularly updated open source options out there. Overall a solid, versatile base to build on for a NAS project at a good price. It won't break any speed records, but won't break the bank either.
