Left disappointed
After spending a lot of time assembling the mower, following pretty basic instructions, there was a problem with the first machine in that when I pulled the recoil starter it didn't recoil. This meant it couldn't be started again. A 2nd machine arrived and this works ok.
The mower is very heavy to use and if the ground is soft this is a problem. The "dead man's handle" arrangement means you have to hold this all the time when starting and using, if you let go at all it stops & you are forever pulling on the starter rope. The height of cut is very limited and really, if using on a home lawn, probably only the next to the lowest setting can be used. On the lowest setting, unless the ground is completely flat, then it scrapes the grass off slight mounds whilst on higher settings the grass is left too long.
Probably would not buy this again
